FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

Rapid City, Man.    Febuary 18, 1925

Dear Phelps,

Am sending under separate cover an enlargement of a snap taken about a year ago, the only think I have apart from that photo which has gone the rounds.

I took it myself and don't like its worried look. However.

Thanks for the glad news re Pierce. I'll be very glad if he brings the book. I'll write him about a month from now. I must get that thing settled, the book printed, that is - if I am to print myself - before end of June. You see you can never tell. Even with a contract in my hand I waited 3 yrs for the Stories. I am not going to do that again. I shall, therefore, not consider anything as settled till I have the proofs in my hand. However.

I hope the photo will do. I'm in a terrible hurry.

Yours,
F.P.G.

I don't know whether you need print or negative?
