FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

Rapid City, Man.    May 16, 1925

Dear Phelps,

I wonder whether you are still in W'peg?

Mrs. L.M. Macdonald, The Manse, Leaokdale, Ont., asks me to let her have a Ms. of the Search for America to read. I have none. Can you let her have yours? To be returned to you.

I have typed "Equal Opportunities" and sometimes think it's great, sometime, it's piffle. I have tremendously shortened it; but it is still over 200,000 words. I'll get it into shape during the summer. I hope.

The result of the Brandon examination is disheartening. After having told me, No Cancer, no appendicitis - when they came to the end of their resources, they advised having my appendix removed. That's all. Meanwhile I am suffering from pains, though they don't keep me from work.

Yours,
F.P.G.
