FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

Rapid City, Man.    October 25, 1926

Dear A.L.P.,

You are home now. Well, I just had a letter from Brandt & Brandt, saying they will try to place Adolescence , but adding:

"Because of the unrelieved tradgedy, Adolescence will be difficult to sell but it interested us very much."

Now, on account of the hurry this morning 2 things were forgotten.

•  Mrs. G. wanted, of course, to be remembered to Mrs. P.

•  I was going to ask you to buy for me, on your way home, a small tin of Evan's

Pastilles. They are the only thing that will stop that slight cough of mine. It goes without saying that I was going to land you the cash for it, but.

I feel comparatively well tonight.

Bye, Bye,
F.P.G.
