FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

137. 1930:
Ottawa, Ont.    April 15, 1930

My dear Art,

I just wired Kickconnell to say that I am still open for one more volume in the fall and shall be delighted to have your names on the list.

If you can let me know about Rhodenizer's Mss by a night letter, charges collect, as soon as possible, you will greatly relieve me. I might say confidentially that I do not want that volume for Ariston but for Graphic, and that I absolutely need something of that kind. So, if it is at all possible please report as favorably as you can. You may not know that Graphic has been re-organized with a capitalization of $520,000.00 and that, on the side I am editorial production manager for them. This, however, is strictly confidential and my name appears nowhere in Graphic, but you will notice the entire reversal in policy next fall.

I shall write to you personally today or tomorrow or the first moment I can get time.

With best regards,

Very sincerely yours,
F.P.G.
