FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

139. 1930:
Ottawa, Ont.    April 21, 1930

Dear Sir,

In looking over our files, we notice that you have not so far taken advantage of our offer to show you the beauties of the Ottawa valley free of charge. We would, therefore, once more impress you with the allurements of the prospect; and in addition we would say that we offer a special inducement for prompt acceptance. If our offer is taken up by May 1 st , we shall furnish, for the duration of your stay, one apple a day FREE to every member of your party; and if you agree to stay till our own apple crop ripens, we shall permit every member of said party to pick two apples a day direct from the trees. May we once more urge upon you the necessity of avoiding delay?

Hoping to hear from you by return mail, we are, dear Sir,

Free Summer Accommodation Limited,

Per F.P. Grove
President

P.S. - Eventually, why not NOW?
Don't say I shall do it tomorrow.
OTTAWA WELCOMES YOU.
SO DOES EASTVIEW.
