FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

Dear A.L.P.,

Thanks for your report on the Rhodenizer volume for which we enclose cheque for $10. I would not consider any Rhodenizer volume for Ariston; but I rather thought that it might do for Graphic. He is a temporizer who will, for instance, give a good review because he does not want to offend the publishers.

May I say that it is absolutely necessary for you to see me sometime during the summer, or I lose my standards and shall become a mere business man?

Well best regards,

Sincerely yours,
F.P.G.
