FPG's Letters to A. L. Phelps

150. 1930:
Cumming's Bridge, Ont.    August 5, 1930

My dear A.L.P.,

I am at a loss. Have been trying to insert the missing quotations in your Mss., but can't find the books in Ottawa libraries, at least not all of them. I am holding the matter up till you come. You are coming, are you not? Kirk does not take the matter as well as he should: my directorate is in a sort of consternation at the fact that 3 different publishers announce Kirkconnell books. He does publish too much, I'm sorry to say. Well, I'll see him shortly, I hope. See you, too? We may have to leave the book over till Spring, no matter what we decide to do about it. I'm most anxious to talk matters over with you. Don't disappoint us.

Best wishes for L. & Ann.

As ever,
F.P.G.
