[5]-64. -- Lord Arthur Saviles Verbrechen : eine Studie über die Pflicht, p.[67]-136. Annotation: That Greve's untitled, but signed introduction ["Bonn, Okt. 1903"] to the two O. Wilde translations "Das Bildnis des Mr. W. H." [pp.5-64] & "Lord Arthur Saviles Verbrechen" [pp.67-136] actually is his otherwise elusive publication "Randarabesken zu Oscar Wilde" becomes apparent in tbe preliminary pages of the present book: there, underneath Bruns publishers' advertisement for Greve's separately published & fully titled Essay, one finds the following, glowing description: "Der ganze Zauber von Wildes blendender Persönlichkeit weht durch diese von dithyrambischem Schwunge erfüllten Impromptus, die zugleich die Einleitung zu dem vorliegenden Buche bilden." -- Note: Translations & introductory essay by F. P. Greve. -- Greve's [untitled] essay "Randarabesken" was written in "Bonn, Okt[ober] 1903" when Greve was half-way through serving a year in Bonn prison for having defrauded his friend Herman [sic!] Kilian.
