Other Professional Experience

1973-1975

During post-graduate studies in Library & Information Science at McGill University in Montreal, I worked on the desk of the Library Science Library

1974

In the spring of 1974, I undertook the shelflist reading project of the McGill Library Science Library [with fellow student Daniel Phelan]

During my McGill years, I had the privilege of minding H. E. Heinemann's antiquarian Mansfield Book Mart a few hours a week.

1974

In the fall of 1974, at the First International Antiquarian Bookfair at Place Bonaventure, I was happy to represent H. E. Heinemann at his exhibit booth in the evenings

1974

In the summer of 1974, I had a three-months internship with renowned auction house and antiquarian establishment Hauswedell & Nolte in Hamburg
During my tenure there, a large auction of rare juvenile literature books took place. So did one of expressionist art, including several by Emil Nolde (1867-1956).
